FAQ's

Can you create a group pet portrait from individual photos?

Yes, in fact this is how I prefer to work. If you would like your portrait to include more than one subject you should  send individual photos of each pet. This way I can really see the detail I need to ensure that your pet portrait is realistic. We can then talk through the composition and I will send you some ideas to agree before I start.

Can I see the early stage sketches?

Yes, once I have planned out the composition I will send you a photo of an early sketch to approve before I start to work up the detail.

Is my portrait framed?

Your portrait will be mounted but not framed. This is because it is safer send  mounted artwork as frames and glass can be damaged in the post.  I do work with a specialist local framers and can arrange to have your portrait framed  if you live locally and are happy to collect from them. I try to work in standard sizes so that you can also buy off the shelf frames.

Can I collect my portrait?

Yes, I am always happy for you to come to collect your finished pet portrait. I am based in Bovey Tracey, Devon.

Can I buy cards of my pet portrait?

Some customers like to share their portrait. Bespoke greetings cards are available in two sizes and are supplied with an envelope.  The cards are blank inside for your own message.  Cards are sold in packs of six for £12.

Will my portrait be displayed on your website?

I sometimes add pencil portraits to my website however if you would prefer me not to do this please let me know.
